Jason Mai is the Trading Specialist at the Cadence Financial Group.  Jason’s primary responsibility at the Cadence Financial Group concerns the supervising of security transactions for our Legacy portfolios, which includes trading reconciliation, portfolio administration and the preparation of our regular performance reports.

After earning his Bachelor of Science degree at Stony Brook University of New York, Jason embarked on a career in the finance industry. During his 10 years with JPMorgan Asset Management in New York, Jason led a small team of stock and bond traders who focused on trading the firm’s private bank and private client managed accounts. Realizing that the subject of room-to-breathe and quality-of-life in New York was becoming an issue, Jason and his family packed their belongings and moved to Vancouver – his wife, Tina’s hometown – to raise their little ones.

In his free time, Jason enjoys spending time with Tina and watching their two little girls grow up.
